   • Your wheelchair will arrive almost fully assembled. You will need to attach the remaining parts upon delivery.

3. Can my wheelchair go on an airplane or cruise?

   • Yes. The 12AH (288WH) lithium-ion battery is approved for travel by most major airlines and cruise lines. Be sure to confirm the travel battery regulations with your airline or cruise line before traveling.

4. I've run out of battery. Can I push my chair?

   • Yes. The IQ-8000 wheelchair can be operated like a manual wheelchair. Ensure the power is off, then disengage both motors by unlocking the levers on each motor to set the wheelchair to free-wheel mode.

5. Does my remote control come paired with my chair?

6. Can I silence the beeping sound my wheelchair makes while reversing?

   • Yes. To remove the beeping noise, press the (+) key on the controller until you reach top speed, then hold it down until you see an amber light in the middle of the display. Quickly press the horn button, and the beeping will stop. Repeat these steps to restore the beeping sound.

7. Does the armrest raise?

   • Yes, both armrests can be raised to facilitate easier transfers or to bring your chair closer to a table.

8. How do I charge the battery?

   • The lithium-ion battery can be charged through the joystick controller or directly on the battery. Charging time for an empty battery is 6-8 hours, but it may be less if the battery has some charge left. Once fully charged, unplug the charger from both the battery and the power outlet.

9. Can I install my controller on either side of the wheelchair?

   • Yes. While the controller is initially set up on the right side of the wheelchair, it can easily be moved to the left side.

10. Does my wheelchair come with a warranty?
